5 police officers transferred, CID Chief Barrister Mahbub
Own Correspondent: Five senior officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. Meanwhile, Additional Inspector General of Highway Police Barrister Mahbubur Rahman has been transferred as the Chief of Criminal Investigation Department (CID). They have been transferred by a circular signed by Deputy Secretary Dhananjay Kumar Das on May 3 by order of the President. According to the notification, Deputy Inspector General of Police Mohammad Ibrahim Fatemi has been transferred to the Police Headquarters (TR). On the other hand, Deputy Inspector General of Police SM Ruhul Amin has been transferred as Additional Inspector General of Police, DIG of Tourist Police Mallick Fakhrul Islam has been transferred as Additional Inspector General of Police (currently in charge) and Chief of Highway Police. On the other hand, Sylhet Range DIG said. Kamrul Ahsan has been transferred as Additional Inspector General of Police of the Anti-Terrorism Unit of the police.
The order issued in the public interest will be effective immediately, the notification said.
