The Prime Minister’s Eid gift is being delivered from house to house in Laxmipur

Exclusive News Desk: The Prime Minister’s Eid gift is being delivered to the houses of the very poor people of Laxmipur who have been affected by the Corona disaster. These include sari, lungi, children’s clothing and Eid food. Laxmipur-2 MP Kazi Shahid Islam Papul and reserved women MP Selina Islam CIP are sending these gifts to different villages in their constituency. Leaders and activists of local Awami League, Juba League, Chhatra League and Swechchhasebak League are delivering it to the houses of the listed people. Volunteers have also been recruited for this purpose. The MP couple has set an example in Laxmipur with exceptional support with the slogan ‘Humanitarian Politics’. They aim to provide food and relief assistance to 50,000 poor people in parliamentary seats through private funds and their Selina-Shaheed Foundation. Out of which about 25 thousand people have been given this assistance. The rest will be given this assistance in phases.
Selina Islam MP said, “If I could not take the responsibility of the people of the area in difficult times, why did I become a people’s representative.” Eid gifts have been delivered to the houses of the enlisted people. Her husband, MP Kazi Shahid Islam Papul, was also pleased with the humanitarian service in Laxmipur, Raipur. The Laxmipur district administration said the couple’s humanitarian program could set an example for the rest of the country.
