Staff Correspondent, Dhaka: In a bid to provide Bangladeshi patients with seamless access to world-class medical services, the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) hosted a premier networking session titled “Malaysia Healthcare Week: Your Access to Trusted Malaysian Healthcare” on April 9, 2026, at the Renaissance Hotel, Dhaka.
The event, held in collaboration with the Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association (BOTOA), brought together representatives from five of Malaysia’s leading hospitals. These experts showcased cutting-edge treatments in cardiology, fertility, and wellness, emphasizing Malaysia’s status as a trusted global healthcare hub.
To facilitate Bangladeshi medical travelers, MHTC announced a suite of exclusive benefits, including discounted treatment packages, online specialist consultations, visa assistance, and complimentary translation services.
Mr. Lokman Izam Abd Aziz, Vice President of MHTC, stated that this initiative is a strategic step toward strengthening healthcare ties through knowledge sharing and technology exchange. Distinguished industry leaders, including Mr. Syed Golam Mohammad, President of BOTOA, attended the session, highlighting the vital role of bilateral collaboration.
