Twitter closed 15 accounts in Bangladesh

Popular micro-blogging site Twitter has closed 15 accounts opened in Bangladesh. The accounts have been shut down for publishing various types of false information outside the policy on the platform.

Twitter reported such information in a tweet on Thursday evening.

“Our search is on,” the tweet, posted from an account called Twitter Safety, said. I have received very few accounts from Bangladesh which are publishing false or baseless information. Initially 15 accounts have been closed.
