3 lakh subscribers on YouTube by doing so!

There is no shortage of channels on YouTube about cooking. But Laxman Kare and Srinath Reddy, two friends from Andhra Pradesh, India, opened a YouTube channel in 2016, thinking about the country’s traditional food recipes.

The channel called ‘Country Food’ started with a video of a recipe to fill the stomach by cooking something in a very easy way. A few months later, Laxman Kare and Srinath Reddy uploaded a video of Mastnamma for the first time. At present he is about 108 years old. But he still cooks many local dishes by himself.

Sitting in the middle of the village field, Mastnamma experimented with various food tools. Sometimes chicken in watermelon, sometimes omelet curry inside tomatoes. Once again, plain eggplant curry, cabbage curry. Pizza, bread omelettes, samucha are also on the list of Mastnamma’s cuisine. In addition to fried chili chicken or chicken drumsticks, Mastnamma also makes fish or chicken or jackfruit biryani.

Before cooking, the people of Mastnamma’s family put all the necessary ingredients in his hands. Then he entered the hall, said Laxman Kare. He is also the grandson of Mastnamma.

Laxman Kare and Srinath Reddy, two partners of Country Food Channel, said that their subscription to the channel has multiplied several times since Mastnamma’s recipe video was uploaded. Mastanammarai alone has taken that number to 3 lakhs. Brinjal curry is one of the most popular dishes of Mastnamma.
