The story of a Bangladeshi student living in Hungary who won the Corona War
Rakib Hassan, from Slovenia: “Corona virus” is undoubtedly the name of the biggest disaster of this century. Today, the whole world is treading on the phenomenon of tiny light microscopic organisms and matter in tiny nanometers. No matter how much we demand progress in terms of science and technology, a small virus has proved how helpless people are all over the world today. Today, 205 countries around the world, starting with China’s Yuan, are in the grip of the terrible corona. Every day thousands of people in the world are being infected with this deadly corona virus. Innumerable lives are being lost.
Hungary is a small state of 35,919 square miles in Eastern Europe. Surrounded by a land population of around one crore, this state has not escaped the catastrophic effects of the Corona. Recently, an expatriate Bangladeshi student living in the country was infected with the corona virus. “Hungary” is not as important in our country as other countries in Europe, especially Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, so in many cases a lot of the country’s news is suppressed among us. After fighting the corona virus for about two weeks and recovering, he came back to us in the guise of a winner. Today we will learn about his experience in this adventurous adventure.
The protagonist of today’s trip is Shamsul Islam Sipar, who has been studying Agricultural Engineering at St. Itzvan University in Godolo, a mofussball area near Budapest, Hungary, since September last year on a scholarship called Stipendium Hungarycom.
How did the infection start? In answer to this question, he told us that the initial symptoms of corona virus infection are similar to other common influenza. At first there is a feeling of pain all over the body, then after several days of continuous symptoms, the sore throat gradually starts. At this stage, he also felt a slight fever in his body, he said. Initially, the local hospital was contacted but the hospital authorities did not consider the matter important. Their idea was that maybe he was infected with a common flu virus due to the change of seasons. However, after a few days, after about seven to ten days, the situation began to change rapidly. Fever and respiratory problems, including diarrhea. He was taken to a local hospital, Santamed Clinic, where he was given oxygen to help him breathe normally. At this stage, the doctors tested Kovid-19 in his body and he was found to be infected with the Novel Corona virus. However, as the infection of Kovid-19 was not in a very serious stage in his body, he was advised to have self-isolation directly in his home.
How did he get infected with this deadly corona virus? Shamsul’s answer to this question was that the deadly corona virus entered his body through his roommate. His roommates are much more travel friendly and often he loves to travel to different countries in Europe. Shamsul’s roommate traveled to Germany and Switzerland just a few days before the decision was made to bring the whole of Europe into a state of emergency to prevent the spread of the corona virus, and he too was infected with the corona virus, although his infection was quite common.
How were the days of self-isolation? In response to this question, he said that expatriate life is a life that has to be lived completely alone without any parents or family members; in such a life common fever becomes a cause of great concern. In such a situation, a physical complication like corona virus is like a stab wound to death. There is no one like a glass of water in such a lonely life. Since he lived in a dormitory and dormitory is a public place where there is very little chance of isolation in that sense, at first when his body was infected with the corona virus there was concern about how much he could ensure self-isolation at all. Later, however, two of the eight dormitories were completely locked by his university. Since the Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency in Hungary to prevent the spread of the corona virus and has decided to close all educational institutions in the country, many local Hungarian students have already returned home and come to various exchange study programs, including Erasmus Plus. The seats in his dormitory that became vacant as the students also moved to their own country were also filled with other students for a period of time. Having his own wash room and his own kitchen in the room, he did not have to go any further to maintain self-isolation.
Asked how he recovered, he was asked about his experiences in the Corona days. He said three things affected him the most during the Corona days. First of all, diarrhea caused by corona virus infection which is not actually cured by any kind of medicine. Paracetamol or aspirin or pain if you have a fever or cough or pain in any part of the body
